    Camps are currently designed for explorers age 5-10. Each day of camp includes 1-2 hours of guided, outdoor exploration so please have the kids dress for the outdoors – rain or shine! Pack a lunch and a reusable water bottle each day. We are a nut-free environment, so please snack accordingly!

    Ā Guided by experienced teachers, kids spend the summer exploring all the fun that nature has to offer without ever having to leave the city. Topics for this session include: Butterflies & Pollinators, Urban Birding, Chicago Tree ID, Chicago Wildlife, Houseplants, Compost, and Sustainable Food.

    This summer camp lets kids try out a variety of sustainable professions and hands-on projects with special guest visitors who are experts in their field. Topics include Beekeeping, Gardening & Landscapes, Urban Planning/Mapping, Renewable Energy, and Chicago Water.

    Green Explorers will spend the week exploring eight different ecosystems and traveling to all 7 continents to see how animals live and play around the world. Topics include Ecosystems, Birds, Mammals, Oceans, Habitat Restoration, and Endangered Species.
