Camp FAQs
-
Each week of camp focuses on a different environmental theme (local plants and animals, endangered species, ecosystems around the world, etc); and then each day has it's own theme within the week (Bird Day, Trees Day, Garden Day, etc). We mix a variety of hands-on projects where your child will paint, bake, build an ecosystem, plant a garden, and learn how to become a better friend to the environment. Each day there are designated times for free play, outdoor time, snacks, lunch and about 4-7 projects depending on the day.
-
Our camp currently has room for about 22 campers per day. When we have reached capacity students can be waitlisted and will be granted spots on a first come first serve basis when a spot becomes available.
-
Because our camp is small by design, everyone is together. If you have siblings or friends going to camp together, they will be able to hang out all day together!
-
We aim for 5-10 years of age for full day camps. Unfortunately we cannot accept 4 year olds, but if you child is a little older and still likes to do the projects at camp they are welcome!
-
We take allergies very seriously and we adapt our programs to accommodate them. We do not want anyone to feel left out or unsafe.
-
We open our drop-in days the week before each of our scheduled camps if there is still space available.
-
We do provide after care from 3pm-5pm, but currently do NOT provide before care. After care can be purchased by the week or by the day at checkout.
-
YES! We love discounts! There is a standard 10% sibling discount and a 5% discount for purchasing multiple weeks of summer camp at one time (5% off each week). Our EARLY BIRD summer camp discount is available from the end of January to early March each year.
-
Your child should bring a nut-free lunch, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, snacks, weather-appropriate clothing and any necessary medication. Please do not bring toys from home or any electronics.
