Our educational resources are designed for schools, teachers, after-school program providers, and home school families, and other organizations! We have developed a series of Class Packs, Lesson Plans, and Classroom Supplies that teach kids how to navigate their local ecosystems and learn how to take care of their planet. Kids explore sustainability and climate change through hands-on experiments and activities that demonstrate the importance of being a responsible citizen of the world. Lesson Plan Downloads
Download some of our favorite lesson plans to create your own sustainability and climate change curriculum collection. Each lesson plan comes with all the background info you’ll need, detailed project instructions, supply lists, tips for running the program in your class, and all of the printable worksheets you will need. Our projects are Montessori-inspired and bring topics to life using nature, science, art, and snacks (everyone's favorite).
Class Packs
Our class packs come with everything you need for a one-hour project with your students! Class packs come with a project guide, picture book, and all the materials your students will need to complete their projects. Our class packs are perfect for science classes, after school programs, scout troops, birthday parties, and organizations who want something fast, easy, and literally right out of the box.
Worksheet & Activity Downloads

Classroom Supplies & Refills
Our classroom supplies and project refills include worksheets, classroom maps, garden supplies, binoculars, green roof boxes, solar ovens, worm hotel covers, terrarium cards, wooden animal figures, and more. Most refills and classroom materials come in packs of 10, to help accommodate a range of classroom sizes.
Custom Programs For Educators
Green Explorers Club partners with local schools and organizations to provide custom, nature-based curriculum to fit the needs of your organization, and your students. School Gardens
Our School Garden Programs help teachers and staff build school gardens from scratch and maintain them year after year. Our staff works with your team to create a garden space perfect for your campus, as well as a comprehensive curriculum set that includes weekly one-hour lessons for teachers and students to grow the garden from seeds, track and identify pollinators, compost garden waste, and learn about regular gardening maintenance tasks like watering, weeding, and monitoring plant growth.
After-School Programs
(ages 4-10)
Our after-school programs are tailored to inspire a love for nature and protecting the planet. In addition to in-person, we also offer schools and organizations who serve students ages 4-10 access to our full curriculum sets for 8-week, 10-week, and 12-week programs. All of our curriculum sets are organized by seasons and contain local projects that include plants and animals living alongside all of us in San Diego County. Custom Summer Camps
Summer camp is where Green Explorers Club shines! When you use our summer camp curriculum to build your summer programs, your campers will learn how to take care of our planet as they work through a variety of projects based in science, art, movement, and everyone’s favorite - snacks! Our camps are designed for kids ages 5-10 years, and new curriculum is added every summer.
