Students take their first step at starting a garden by planting seeds! In this unit, students sort seeds and try to identify their favorite foods by the shape and size of its seeds. Next students will take the seed sowing process from start to finish by starting their own seeds indoors in a tray, and they will end the day making garden markers that match the seeds they have started in class.
