PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Students learn how climate change and pollution are affecting the world’s coral reefs, and what scientsts are doing to help save these diverse ecosystems. Students learn the body parts of a coral and build their own candy coral reef. Students also learn about marine biologist Ken Nedimyer, who is globally recognized as a father of reef restoration, and has been creating strategies and techniques to rebuild coral reefs around the world. 60 min | Ages 5-10
