Students learn how climate change and pollution are affecting the world’s coral reefs, and what scientsts are doing to help save these diverse ecosystems. Students learn the body parts of a coral and build their own candy coral reef. Students also learn about marine biologist Ken Nedimyer, who is globally recognized as a father of reef restoration, and has been creating strategies and techniques to rebuild coral reefs around the world.

WHAT'S INSIDE:
This download comes with a detailed lesson plan and a supply list to gather your materials. Also included in this download is the digital file for the 11 x 17 Coral Bleaching Activity Sheet.
